Airborne International Youth Conference Youcee 2024

“Freedom Tells” is the annual theme for 2024. It is the prelude to 80 years of freedom and forms a common thread through all commemorations, celebrations and other activities related to wars.
The Youcee conference is aimed at young people aged 15 -18 with the aim of:

COMMEMORATE | APPRECIATE | EXPERIENCE

Youcee was founded according to the wish of WWII veterans to involve young people from home and abroad in keeping the lessons of the WWII alive by:
• Stimulating awareness about the trouble spots in
the world
• Emphasising the meaning of commemorating,
realising and experiencing
• Introduction to other cultures
• Keeping the memory of the Battle of Arnhem alive

YOUCEE uses The Battle of Arnhem as a starting point to discuss war, peace, justice and international collaboration, so that young people do not repeat the mistakes of history, but focus their energy on friendship and tolerance.
